WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Promote and comply with all safety standards
  • Collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Support electrical and software design as needed
  • Configure interference zones, I/O, and vision systems
  • Perform robot setup including mastering, TCP, payload, and offline programs
  • Troubleshoot and debug PLCs in coordination with the Controls Engineer
  • Optimize cycle times and improve throughput
  • Work with Fanuc robots (required); experience with ABB, KUKA, Kawasaki, and Nachi is an asset
  • Apply experience in material handling, spot welding, MIG welding, and sealing/dispensing
  • Utilize Fanuc DCS building tool models and confirm adequate setup per customer standards
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Ford BIW Robotics Start-Up Engineer
  • Must Have xperience in the automotive Ford standards (Next Gen/GVOSS)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering or programming field
  • Extensive commissioning experience in automotive body shop environment
  • Ability to travel to customer sites across North America and Canada
  • Valid passport and driver’s license
  • Eligibility for a TN Visa
