Job summary

A local food establishment in Woodstock, Ontario is seeking a permanent employee to supervise food preparation activities, train staff, and ensure quality control. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and some experience. This role offers 32 hours of work per week with additional mentorship support for youth and newcomers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and co-ordinate food preparation activities.
  • Train staff in job duties and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies for meals.
  • Ensure food quality control standards are met.
  • Address customers' complaints.
  • Maintain records of stock and sales.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Supervise assembly of trays.
  • Establish work schedules.
