Qualifications

• Red Seal certification is mandatory for this position.
• Ability to work outside in all conditions is required.
• Previous mining experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Providing maintenance support to explosive pumping equipment.
• Fault finding and repair of explosives delivery units.
• Completing regular fleet maintenance and inspections.

Skills

Experience in electrical and hydraulic repair and failure diagnosis

Experience with Detroit Diesel, Mercedes, CAT power plants

Motivated team player

Strong safety background

Computer proficient in Microsoft programs and SAP

Education

Inter Provincial Red Seal certificate (Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport)

High School diploma or equivalent

Class 1 drivers’ license (asset)

Class 3 drivers’ license with air mandatory with clean abstract

CVIP (Commercial Vehicle Inspection Permit) (asset)
