What- the Role:

Our client is seeking a new Analyst who will take on a variety of responsibilities including global consolidations, monthly internal financial reporting, quarterly external financial reporting (IFRS and US GAAP), hedging calculations, management reporting, ad hoc financial analysis, and year-end audit support (working with external Big 4 auditors). Who- the Candidate:

We are seeking an intelligent, curious, and analytical accountant who takes pride in producing top quality financial reporting and who enjoys collaborating with a variety of people across various departments of a complex organization. Qualified candidates for this role will have the drive and talent to learn about the corporation’s financials inside-out, in all the countries the company operates in. Detail-orientation and an analytical mindset are paramount in this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership, are essential. Our client has a high-performance/high-reward culture, and we are seeking an Accountant who can integrate well with this collaborative team.

• Accounting Designation is required: Canadian CPA or International equivalent.
• At least 3 years, preferably 4+ years, progressive experience in complex accounting.
• Public practice training is highly preferred, ideally from a multi-national firm.
• IFRS financial reporting experience is required, preferably for global public companies.
• Experience working directly in the corporate headquarters of a global company is very beneficial.

How Much:

Generous compensation total package commensurate with experience and education, in the range of $88,000 to $94,000. Additionally, the Analyst will receive a performance-based bonus, great benefits, a generous pension plan, professional development support, and a top-notch working environment. Total annual cash compensation likely to come in at over $110,000. This company also provides a very competitive amount of paid time off at close to 5 weeks! Where:

Headquartered in Downtown Vancouver. Close to public transit and many amenities like restaurants and shops. Some Hybrid Flexibility- Working from the office 4 days a week during training and onboarding and during quarter-end periods. In the summer and/or when it’s a bit quieter on the team, can work from home 2 days/week. Over the course of an entire year, the Analyst can work an average of 3.5 days/week from office and 1.5 days/week from home.
