In concert with the Executive Vice President lead the negotiation and placement of private and public company business across all Financial Lines – D&O, Fiduciary, Crime, EPL, E&O, K&R, and Cyber

Organization of underwriting meetings with client in-person and virtual; negotiation of new and renewal policy terms & conditions

Time management, attention to detail, financial aptitude, and presentation skills all need to be at a high level

This position requires in-office attendance at our Toronto Head Office a minimum of 4 days per week

Domestic travel expectations – 15%

Team player; Industry involvement a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and placement of private and public company business across all Financial Lines: D&O, Fiduciary, Crime, EPL, E&O, K&R, Cyber
• Organize underwriting meetings with client in-person and virtual; negotiate new and renewal policy terms and conditions
• Demonstrate time management, attention to detail, financial aptitude, and presentation skills at a high level
• Maintain in-office presence at Toronto Head Office (minimum 4 days/week)
• Manage domestic travel (approx. 15%)
• Collaborate as a team player; industry involvement is a plus
• Display an outgoing personality

Education Experience & Qualifications

• University degree — business focus desired
• Minimum 2 years experience in Financial Lines: D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, K&R, Cyber
• Miscellaneous Professional Lines experience is a plus
• RIBO Licensed or willingness to obtain your broker’s license within 60 days of employment
