A leading shipbuilding company in Victoria seeks a Financial Analyst II responsible for financial report preparation and budget forecasting. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and CPA designation, along with five years in a financial analysis role. Competitive salary of $84,600 - $103,400 with comprehensive benefits, including health, wellness, and pension plan matching. A hybrid work schedule available after 90 days of onsite work.
The Financial Analyst II reports to Seaspan’s Finance Department through the Finance Manager and is primarily responsible for the preparation of monthly financial and management reports, financial analyses, and the AFE process and reporting. This role also assists in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasting. Creation and maintenance of Business Intelligence and Excel reporting will also be an important aspect to this role.
Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.
The estimated salary for this position is $84,600 - $103,400. In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

This position may involve defense articles and/or technical data regulated by the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Arms Export Control Act.
