About the Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, while also driving insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making across Canadian and U.S. operations. This role is well-suited for an individual with strong technical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a desire to develop expertise in tools such as Power BI and SQL.

This role will be predominantly in-office, with 4 days in the office a week and one day working from home.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Partner with business development and operations teams on pricing for RFPs and project bids
  • Maintain and enhance the financial reporting suite to deliver meaningful insights
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support operations and strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and understand business needs
  • Support month-end close activities and assist in preparing financial statements
  • Learn and apply Power BI and SQL to advance reporting and data analysis capabilities
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and reporting
  • Eagerness to learn new tools such as Power BI and SQL
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team approach
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
