What will you do as the Financial Accountant?
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and associated workpapers for review and submission to stakeholders.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and related variance analysis with a focus on improving efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure general ledger accounts are reconciled monthly including deferred revenue and work-in-progress and that all reconciling items are resolved.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances between related parties including divisions, companies, and joint ventures.
  • Be responsible for the inventory subledger and facilitate inventory counts and associated correcting entries.
  • Act as a liaison between the auditors and Atlantica to address auditor queries in a timely manner.
  • Lead and/or support finance related projects with a focus on workflow efficiency and process improvement, ensuring changes align with corporate strategy.
  • Promote team development and foster an efficient and collaborative work environment.
