A career in our Finance Transformation practice, within Consulting services, will provide the opportunity to work alongside Finance leaders to optimize the structure of their finance functions, re‑architect Finance processes and implement best‑of‑breed technology to enable their transformation journey. Join a team of business professionals who work with clients to solve complex problems while utilizing tools to digitally upskill Finance teams. By working with clients to establish and deliver on their transformation roadmap to create value for Finance and beyond. Working in a diverse team, you will help our clients identify process, performance and people and lead the development of meaningful solutions to deliver sustainable change.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of:

PwC Canada is seeking a highly skilled Manager to support the growth of our Finance Transformation practice, with a focus on Shared Services Center (SSC) design, optimization, and operations. This role will support clients in transforming their finance functions, leveraging leading practices, digital tools, and SAP‑enabled solutions to drive efficiency and sustainable performance improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead engagements related to SSC assessment, design, build, and optimization across finance, accounting, and operational processes.
  • Manage teams delivering shared service operations, including AP, AR, GL, reporting, and financial controls.
  • Develop standardized processes, performance models, and service‑level frameworks for SSC operations.
  • Guide clients through change management strategies, capability building, and operating model transitions.
  • Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a trusted business advisor.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, pursuit decks, and thought leadership.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop diverse team members within project engagements and the broader practice.
Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA or MBA is an asset.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Shared Services, Finance transformation, or operational finance roles.
  • Must have experience working in a consulting environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP Finance (FI/CO) and end‑to‑end process flows.
  • Proven track record leading teams in fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder engagements.
  • Experience with SSC operating models, performance frameworks, and continuous improvement programs is an asset.
  • Ability to lead clients through complex change and clearly articulate recommendations.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.
