Overview

Peter Lucas Project Management is seeking a Field Expeditor to join our team. In this role, you will support project execution by coordinating and monitoring the delivery of materials, equipment, and services to site. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in the field to resolve supply chain and logistics challenges.

Peter Lucas is a project management business specializing in the heavy industrial, mining, construction, and oil & gas sectors. Our head office is based in Saskatoon, but our project professionals and initiatives span across the country.

The project covers the following contract areas:

  • Regina and surrounding communities (Pilot Butte, White City, Emerald Park)
  • Saskatoon, Dalmeny, Martensville, Warman
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Crown representatives, contractors, and customers
  • Provide on-site monitoring, design support, site readiness checks, inspection, reporting, and oversight of projects under the Distribution Construction Management team
  • Confirm site readiness for service installation, including:
  • Verification of meter board installation and code compliance
  • Ensuring clear routes and proper grading/backfill
  • Confirming customer awareness of outstanding technical requirements and service need dates
  • Complete site check reports
  • Determine service installation details:
  • Verify correct service line sizing
  • Create construction drawings and identify tie-in points
  • Confirm type, size, and pressure of gas mains
  • Assess specialty tools, non-typical site requirements, or approvals needed
  • Coordinate engineering, administrative, and approval processes as required
  • Schedule installations once conditions are met
  • Identify base units for performed work
  • Create initial schedules based on customer needs and service targets (KPIs)
  • Manage communications, negotiations, and conflict resolution among stakeholders
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned
