Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary perinatal service in beautiful Powell River, BC. We are seeking a general practitioner with interest and skill in full scope primary obstetrical care. This urgent locum coverage has the opportunity to transition to a permanent position.
qathet General Hospital is developing a new full-service perinatal program with support from obstetricians, gynecologists, family doctors, midwives, nursing, and lactation consultants. Be part of this important work to optimize and retain rural perinatal services!
While the primary focus is on obstetrical care, there is an option to combine this with general fee-for-service family practice or hospitalist work in community clinics and hospital.
Powell River, a Sunshine Coast community accessible by ferry and air, boasts natural beauty and a temperate climate, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
