A regional health authority is seeking a Palliative Care Physician to work at Kelowna General Hospital and the Cancer Centre. This role includes responsibilities as both inpatient and outpatient consultant, with opportunities for program development within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must be eligible for CPSBC licensure and coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory. Position Summary

Excellent opportunity for a Palliative Care Physician interested in working in a partnership between the Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) and the Cancer Centre in Kelowna. This position provides a flexible clinical and academic role where you will work both as an acute inpatient consultant at KGH and an outpatient consultant at the Cancer Centre, Cancer Pain and Symptom Management Clinic. This is a newer program with plenty of opportunity for program development. The program has a multidisciplinary team approach to clinics and an enjoyable teamwork environment. Applicants must meet requirements of provincial College of Physician and Surgeons, BC Cancer, and Kelowna General Hospital.
