Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Engineering team to drive innovative design and construction solutions for infrastructure projects that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
  • Lead project oversight by tracking cost, schedule, scope, and quality metrics - ensuring every initiative stays on target and delivers value.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to validate construction progress, update facility documentation, and ensure contractor compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support daily operations through targeted engineering analyses that solve real-time challenges and optimize facility performance.
  • Champion long-term planning by initiating and contributing to strategic engineering studies that shape our evolving 5-year capital investment roadmap.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program (any discipline) at a recognized institution.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a facilities, infrastructure, or construction-related environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel, with a knack for organizing data and communications.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or other drawing design and markup tools is a strong asset.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and professionally.
  • A quick learner and effective problem solver, with a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach to challenges.
