This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Act as the “on the floor” daily leadership for the facilities cleaning team
  • Focus on operational excellence, employee training and development, service standards and consistencies
  • Perform established cleaning duties on a daily basis for all guest and team member areas
  • Keep emergency exits and hallways clear of debris
  • Ensure cleaning checklists are maintained and up to date
  • Maintain garbage collection areas and help facilitate an effective recycling program
  • Coordination of daily and weekly employee schedules and breaks
  • Responsible for inventory and stock‑take of equipment and supplies
  • Provide administrative support to the maintenance manager, including supplies ordering and SOP development; ensure all safety practices are properly trained, documented and adhered to including WHMIS and proper equipment use
  • Performing quality assurance checks and coaching staff members as required
  • Maintaining all facilities, grounds and staff common areas to expected standards
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the receiving and supplies room
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous leadership experience, or a willingness to progress into a leadership position
  • A passion for making a difference for each guest
  • Strong team play, organization and communication skills
  • Mature, energetic, dependable and self‑motivated with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks needing attention
  • Adaptable to a changing work environment and different tasks
  • Confidence in safe use and instruction of common cleaning equipment, chemical use and grounds maintenance equipment
  • Experience in a custodial and or grounds maintenance role an asset
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
  • Be prepared for all weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, hail)
  • Must meet the organization grooming and appearance standards
  • To honour our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record check
  • Standard first aid or higher an asset

The starting wage for this role is $21.50/hour.
