This position provides specialized analytical and strategic support to the Office of the Vice‑Principal, Academic & Dean (OVPAD), with a focus on advancing initiatives within the portfolio of the Associate Dean, Academic Experience. The Experiential Education Unit (EEU) supports the academic mission of the University of Toronto Mississauga by enhancing undergraduate education through the development and delivery of innovative, high‑impact experiential learning opportunities that connect classroom learning with practical experience. Reporting to the Director, Experiential Education & Community Engagement, the Experiential Learning Data Analyst contributes to the advancement of divisional priorities by providing robust data analysis, research insights, and evidence‑based recommendations to inform planning, policy development, and program enhancement across experiential learning initiatives.
The incumbent is responsible for designing and executing research projects that address complex qualitative and quantitative questions related to experiential learning participation, student outcomes, and program effectiveness. They will develop and maintain data visualization tools, dashboards, and performance indicators to support informed decision‑making and the assessment of institutional priorities. The role includes preparing comprehensive reports, presentations, and analytics briefs for senior leadership as well as contributing to research proposals and grant applications. The Experiential Learning Data Analyst will also examine and synthesize data related to emerging trends across programs to support innovation and continuous improvement. Working collaboratively with academic units and campus partners, the Experiential Learning Data Analyst will translate data findings into actionable insights that strengthen the quality and impact of experiential learning across the campus.
