Overview
Expansion Account Executive - Emerging Business — Join MaintainX to drive growth in the Emerging segment (300 employees or less) by engaging and managing relationships with a high volume of accounts.

What You’ll Do
- Ownership — Own a book of business from post-sale handoff onwards and engage a large segment of Emerging customers, building strong relationships.
- Expansion — Identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities within existing accounts to drive long-term partnerships.
- Prospecting — Proactively identify customer needs and provide innovative solutions to exceed expectations.
- Presentation — Articulate metrics and ROI to demonstrate value of MaintainX solutions.
- Organization — Manage multiple tasks (client requests, demos, proposals, follow-ups) and stay highly organized.
- Systems — Master Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and other tools; forecast expansion opportunities with ±15% accuracy.
- Documentation — Maintain meticulous records of interactions, deals, and progress.

Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years in a quota-carrying SaaS sales closing role (New Business AE or Expansion AE/AM).
- Proven ability to manage a large volume of prospects while driving product adoption.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills with the ability to convey data-driven insights.
- Demonstrated experience conducting engaging product demonstrations.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing sales environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; accurate documentation and deal management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client and internal relationships.
- Positive, passionate, creative mindset aligned with company values; open to coaching and learning about customer industries.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in a relevant field.
Bonus If You Have
- Experience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etc.
- Experience with startups and entrepreneurial organizations.
- Experience in CMMS or facility operations software.
- Documented success working in a remote setting.
