What it’s like to be a Northbridge Executive Underwriter

The Executive Underwriter plays a national leadership role in shaping underwriting frameworks, product development, and authority structures for the Small Business segment across Northbridge Financial Corporation’s commercial brands. Working closely with the Director of Underwriting, this role provides technical expertise to address complex portfolio challenges, supports profit centres on unique accounts, and ensures governance through robust file reviews.

Beyond technical leadership, the Executive Underwriter is a key driver of modernization and digital transformation, leading initiatives that enhance automation, accelerate flow underwriting, and optimize processes for efficiency and ease of doing business across all regions.

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary above or below this range based on a candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience relative the role’s requirements. We encourage candidates with expectations outside of this range to apply, as we value finding the right fit for the team.
