EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

(External Posting, Contract – Ending May 31, 2026)

Thunder Bay, ON

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day administrative functions under the direction of the Executive Director. The Executive Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for internal and external party communication for the Executive Director. The Executive Assistant must be proficient with, and routinely utilize email, Office 365 programs, and maintain an organized file/data management system.

Qualifications:
• Post Secondary education or training in office administration preferred;
• Minimum of secondary school education with related experience;
• Some travel may be required;
• Ability to work with different communication platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Teleconferences, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information;
• Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Experience working within First Nations communities;
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, internet, and web-based systems.
• Ability to speak Cree, Ojibway, or Oji-Cree would be an asset

Location: Thunder Bay, ON

Hours: Full-Time Contract (35 Hours Per Week)

Starting Salary: $50,140 Annually
