This role involves preparing construction estimates, analyzing tenders, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Qualifications

We have a key opportunity for an Estimator to join our team in London or Warwick Township.

We are looking for a team player with solid communication skills (both verbal and written). A driven individual with a passion for the contractor environment! Key Responsibilities include:
  • Prepare construction estimates based on quotations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Complete takeoff and bid compilation using B2W Estimate.
  • Assist in preparation of pre-construction and construction services proposals.
  • Examine and analyze tenders and make recommendations.
  • Follow the company cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
  • Liaise, consult, and communicate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Research and analyze cost data for review and presentation.
  • Assisting with Project Schedules.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures while following OHSA and construction regulations.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience include:
  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management diploma is an asset.
  • 3+ years experience in construction industry, ort similar industry is a must.
  • Proven experience in estimating within the civil construction industry.
  • Computer skills and software experience including Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience with Bid2Win, Heavy Bid, is an asset.
  • Experience with ERP programs such as Maestro is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Knowledge of MTO book 7 Traffic Control Requirements.
  • Experience with hazard assessments and controls in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
