Key Responsibilities

As the Project Manager – Team Lead, you will oversee project quotations and lead coordination efforts between internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning & Bid Strategy
    • Identify and qualify potential bid opportunities; assemble comprehensive material requirement lists, including lighting, switchgear, and related components.
    • Collaborate with engineering consultants to confirm project scope and secure approvals for bid submission.
  • Supplier & Client Management
    • Engage with suppliers to clarify specifications, confirm bill of materials, and negotiate optimal pricing.
    • Provide leadership in vendor and customer negotiations, ensuring alignment on costs, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Quotation Development & Team Oversight
    • Lead the preparation and submission of accurate and competitive project quotations.
    • Coordinate efforts across internal sales, account management, and operations teams to ensure quote integrity and readiness for order processing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Follow-Up
    • Track and follow up on outstanding bids, determining status and potential next steps.
    • Work with internal stakeholders to identify upselling opportunities within current accounts and enhance customer relationships.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Education & Experience
    • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • At least 5 years of experience in project management, estimating, or sales support, ideally within an industrial or construction-related environment.
    • Proven ability to manage complex bids and lead cross‑functional teams.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills for quoting and pricing.
    • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and relevant industry software.
  • Key Competencies
    • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.
    • Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.
