THE TEAM

The mission of the Workplace Safety & Health Department is to uphold industry-leading best practices to prevent the occurrence of serious workplace injuries and illnesses.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for the design, execution, and maintenance of industry-leading health and safety practices to protect our people at our Food and Beverage (F&B) locations. You will play a pivotal role in demonstrating the value of WSH to the business and external stakeholders while identifying and implementing strategic improvements to WSH practices across our F&B operations. THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager/Manager, Workplace Safety & Health, Food & Beverage, you will lead the team to:

  • Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
  • Establish Aritzia’s approach to Workplace Safety & Health.
  • Minimize the impacts associated with hazards in our spaces.
  • Assess the compliance of the Workplace Safety & Health program.
  • Minimize the impacts associated with emergencies in our spaces.
  • Respond to incidents quickly and effectively.
  • Manage, maintain, and monitor WSH risk.
THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Manager/Manager, Workplace Safety & Health, Food & Beverage has:

  • Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in Workplace Safety & Health with a focus on Food & Beverage.
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia’s Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners.
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business.
THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
