Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and food processing systems.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and team leadership within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in CMMS systems and spare parts management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (PUWER, LOLER, PSSR, ISO standards).
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules for equipment.
  • Build weekly engineering schedules in collaboration with Engineering and Production teams.
  • Ensure contractors, permits, and shutdown windows are prepared in advance.
  • Review and prioritise work requests based on production impact.
  • Analyse downtime trends and implement corrective actions.
