Our Produce team is fundamental to Metro’s overall success with a focus on always fresh, in stock, and up to standards. The Produce Clerk is responsible for the preparation of produce products for retail display and sale to customers in a safe and sanitary manner. They are also involved in servicing Metro’s customers in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner!

Responsibilities

Noting the original content, the Produce Clerk is responsible for the preparation of produce products for retail display and sale to customers in a safe and sanitary manner, and for servicing customers in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• Customer service driven
• Able to stock merchandise and create displays
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Good product knowledge and attention to detail
• Retail experience considered an asset
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
