is welcoming a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. We are a leading emergency and specialty referral hospital, delivering advanced care in a state‑of‑the‑art 25,000‑square‑foot facility. Our hospital offers referral‑based, board‑certified specialty services in Internal Medicine and Surgery, supported by cutting‑edge diagnostic technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple emergency and hospitalized cases per shift
  • Treat in‑house patients during quieter periods between emergency cases
  • Support and mentor junior staff through practical, hands‑on guidance and collaborative team discussions.
  • Collaborate with specialists to ensure patient care is the top priority
  • Offer exemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with your clients
  • Complete medical records efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
  • Internship trained preferred OR 2 years of direct working experience in an emergency or urgent care.
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical and emergency care skills
  • Strong organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Eligible to be licensed in the province of Alberta
  • Capable of multi‑case management per shift
  • Willing to actively manage and treat in‑house patients during quieter periods between emergency cases
  • Will collaborate and mentor junior staff through hands‑on learning and during team meetings in a constructive and caring manner
  • Will collaborate with specialists to ensure patient care is the top priority
