Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing.
  • Experience in anesthesia and multi-modal pain management expected.
  • Skilled in catheter placement and blood draws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients.
  • Perform triage and assess patients, obtaining vital signs.
  • Assist in anesthesia and surgery preparation.

$3000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital of West Toronto is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our emergency team!

Schedule
  • Three 12-hour shifts
  • Rotating days and overnights
  • Every other weekend
Compensation
  • $28 - $35
  • $3000 sign on bonus

Requirements
  • Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician in good standing with OAVT.
  • Strong skills in anesthesia and willingness to learn advanced techniques.
  • Experience in multi-modal pain management.
  • Proficient in radiography and bandage changes.
  • Comfortable with drug dosage calculations and creating anesthetic protocols.
  • Skilled in catheter placement and blood draws.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide top-notch patient care.
