Qualification
  • Special Education qualifications.
  • Members in good standing or in the process of becoming Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) qualified with OCT prior to the start date, and enrolled or completed Special Education based on Ontario College of Teachers qualifications.
References
  • If external to YRDSB, provide at least three (3) professional, supervisory teaching references in the online application.
  • If internal YRDSB employee, include all previous teaching experiences and two (2) references, one of which must be a YRDSB administrator.
Police Record Check

Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) must be completed within six (6) months prior to the scheduled start date. Candidates must provide results to the Board upon instruction.

  • Principal/Vice Principal who has supervised you.
  • Faculty Advisor/Coordinator or Practicum Advisor.
  • Host/Mentor Teacher.
  • Professional reference.
