Job description

We are looking for a great person to join our team! You will be a primary customer contact on technical and service-related problems on a wide range of industrial, robotic, and printing equipment. Please note: this is NOT an IT job – we are looking for someone with electrical and mechanical experience.

This is a direct-hire position: that means you will be on our client’s payroll from day 1! Get your foot in the door with a great company! This is a one-year position with the potential to be permanent.

The pay range for this position is $24-30/hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Install, troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial products (printing and packaging equipment, X-ray machines, cash recycling products, inserting and sorting machines, credit card attaching and processing systems, robotics and other accessories)
  2. Schedule and perform regular preventive maintenance inspections on equipment
  3. Manage parts inventory and customer service calls
  4. Act as a liaison between the customer and other departments/functions of the company
  5. Respond to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service within established response time goals
  6. You will be in a front-facing role – must be customer-focused
Requirements:
  1. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent with 2-year degree or diploma in electronics/advanced mechanics/software training
  2. Must have at least 1 year related industry/equipment experience
  3. Must be able to pass a criminal background check with reliability clearance
  4. Strong electronics and mechanical background, understanding of computer program functionality and software troubleshooting skills
  5. Ability to use standard and specialized hand, power and diagnostic tools and measuring equipment, such as oscilloscopes, DMM, gauges, etc.
  6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, quantitative, and time management skills
  7. Ability to lift 50lbs
  8. Ability to work at heights (up to 20 feet)
  9. Ability to work in small, cramped spaces
  10. Must be able to travel within the United States and Canada
  11. Bilingual – fluent in both French and English (written and verbal) is an asset
