Job Overview:

IIQAF Group is hiring a skilled and licensed Electrician (Hospitality) to support electrical installation, maintenance, and repair operations across hospitality properties, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in commercial and hospitality electrical systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with Canadian electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Perform electrical work in hotels, resorts, restaurants, and hospitality facilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, wiring issues, and power failures
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
• Coordinate with facility management and maintenance teams
• Respond to emergency electrical issues as required
• Follow workplace health, safety, and hospitality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or Commercial Electrician
• Experience working in the hospitality or commercial sector
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, panels, and controls
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently
• Familiarity with Canadian electrical safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Red Seal Electrician certification or provincial electrician license
• Experience in hotel or resort maintenance
• Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems and building automation
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or on‑call schedules
