Job summary

A leading automation company in Windsor is seeking a Licensed Electrician to ensure the functioning of electrical components for their equipment. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience with automation systems and fluid systems, and must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Qualifications

  • 442A or 330A Licenced electrician with 5-10 years’ experience.
  • Good working knowledge of automation systems (PLC control, pneumatic actuation, motion control).
  • Good working knowledge of fluid systems (pneumatic, hydraulic).
  • Familiarity with mechanical design is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Review and identify all electrical components needed for equipment functioning.
  • Confirm BOMs and ensure integration feasibility.
  • Liaise between electrical engineering and build teams.

Job description
Job Responsibilities:
  • • Carefully review and identify all electrical components needed for equipment functioning (sensors, cables, IO block, pneumatic valves, etc.).
  • • Correct and confirm BOMs.
  • • Leverage shop floor experience to identify potential lack of feasibility with regards to integration.
  • • Liaise between the electrical engineering and electrical build teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • 442A or 330A Licenced electrician with 5-10 years’ experience•
  • Good working knowledge of automation systems (PLC control, pneumatic actuation, motion control)
  • Good working knowledge of fluid systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, design, fittings, pressure, flow etc.)
  • Working understanding of mechanical design an asset
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software an asset
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confidence using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
