The Fredericton Electrical team is looking to fill the role of an Electrical Engineer-in-Training. Reporting to the Electrical Manager, the Electrical EIT will work under the supervision of a Senior Engineer to develop skills and gain experience in performing engineering design and/or power system simulation and analysis.
The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks which may include assisting with the design of transmission and distribution systems as well as the preparation of preliminary design and technical specifications for power cable installations. The EIT may also assist in the modelling, simulation, and analysis of power systems for planning and feasibility purposes. The candidate should have an understanding of power system protection concepts and common protection schemes as they relate to low voltage and medium voltage distribution systems.
