Our team of skilled technologists and engineers conduct testing services including load and fault-interrupting tests, arc-resistance tests, momentary and short-time current tests, and failure-mode and exploratory tests involving applying precisely controlled distribution-level 60 Hz voltage and current to test objects.

Reporting to the Division Manager, the ideal candidate will bring an understanding of electrical engineering principles with a focus on high power testing. Applicants with previous relevant experience and project management skills in a fast-paced environment are highly desired.

  • Troubleshoot engineering problems and technical issues encountered during testing, propose solutions and implement corrective measures as needed
  • Develop innovative engineering techniques and apply theoretical and practical knowledge in testing, analysis and problem resolution
  • Support failure analysis investigations and contribute engineering knowledge on test procedures to ensure accuracy, achievement of required results and adherence to accepted engineering practice
  • Oversee the maintenance and improvements of laboratory equipment and operations with emphasis on achieving quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Maintain professional relationships and communication with other departments, outside consultants, contractors and suppliers to effectively gather and relay information and resolve issues of concern
