Job description

PTW is hiring Local Electrical / Dual ticket Journeypersons to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. If you are available, we want to hear from you!

Job Details

  • Non-local candidates will be considered; preference will be given to local candidates.
  • Rate: $44-50/hour, dependent on experience.
  • Shift: Various shifts.
  • Working hours: Opportunity to work 8 to 12 hours per day based on workload requirements.
  • Overtime: Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis.
  • Accommodations: Various options available.

Requirements

  • Must possess construction and maintenance electrical experience.
  • Must possess instrument experience/knowledge.
  • Experience with Scadapacks, Revue's, and troubleshooting/rebuilding electric chem pumps/valves.
  • Must be a certified Journeyperson.
  • Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
  • Must be reliable and dependable (i.e., punctual and ready to work).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to work safely.
  • Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection, and H2S Alive).
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate.
