Description of the open mandate

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports pertaining to the work progress, QA/QC results, and work with the contractor on site to have an actual and anticipated expenditures.
• Familiarize yourself with the requirements of the project and its particularities, such as environmental, quality and safety techniques.
• Verify the quality of plans and specifications and their compliance with current standards.
• Perform post construction verification and data collection.
• Ready to work anywhere within Northern Ontario.
• Experienced in distribution substation and poles construction verification. The inspector shall follow the local utilities overhead Distribution Standards and observe any deficiencies.
• Working with (Procore) platform.
• Make sure the contractor follows only the latest revision of the drawings issued by the engineer of records.
• Ensure that the quality plan is applied with regards to technical, safety and environmental requirements.
• Participate in the follow-up of non-conformance reports following work supervision.
• Provide site recommendations to enhance or optimize the activities.
• Liaises with the contractor and all subcontractors.
• Follow client’s working hours and adhere to the safety requirements.
• Perform any other related tasks.
• Candidate MUST be a Thunder Bay Resident.
