A community service organization is seeking an Early Childhood Educator for their Early Learning & Youth Services programs in Vancouver. The role involves creating inclusive programs for children with and without special needs. Candidates must hold a BC Early Childhood Education Certification and have at least one year of related experience. SERVICE AREA: Early Learning & Youth Services
LOCATION: Kids at GF Strong Child Development Centre
START DATE: January 02, 2026 (Ending January 02, 2027)
TERM/STATUS: Temporary FullTime
SCHEDULE/HRS: Monday - Friday Rotating Shift (1-week cycle) 07:15-15:15, 08:15-16:15, 09:45-17:45 // 37.5 hours per week
HOURLY WAGE: $28.25 as per collective agreement(*DDA is a CSSEA employer paying JJEP collective agreement rates; WE funding is not paid above the ECE wage.)
The Early Childhood Educator (ECE) provides an enriched program for children which meet the needs of the families in the community. The ECE also provides opportunities for children with both typical and special needs to interact on a daily basis. The ECE works in conjunction with the Manager to ensure the needs of the children are met.
This position requires Union membership.
