JOB SUMMARY
The EAC Systems Administrator designs, implements, tests, and maintains EAC solutions in support of Allmar branches and their EAC projects. The SA is responsible for the commissioning and setup of sold EAC assets, including workstation computers, servers, network equipment, software applications, and access control systems. The SA will assess and identify appropriate technology solutions to meet business opportunities as they are discovered.

Duties
- Assist in planning, designing, estimating, implementing, commissioning, and maintaining (staying in touch with end users) EAC systems sold externally and used internally.
- Proactively monitor installed EAC systems to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory records of all EAC assets, including hardware and software, demo, and support equipment.
- Develop and maintain purchase data, forecasted sales, and budget for EAC products.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users.
- Create and maintain documentation to facilitate the ongoing operation of Allmar’s sold EAC assets.
- Research and recommend new EAC solutions and components for Allmar sales initiatives.
- Provide technical support and advice to sales staff on access control and security solutions.
- Offer 2nd tier support to emergency on-call technicians and clients.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Extensive knowledge of computer software and EAC systems, including Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (XP, Server 2003, Vista, Server 2008 R2, 7), SQL Server (2005, 2008 R2, Express), networking (Nortel Contivity Routers with OSPF, Brocade and Nortel switches with VLANs and QOS), security and access control systems (Salto, Keyscan, GE, IR, ASSA, others), Panasonic IP surveillance, Dell Optiplex PCs, PowerEdge servers, and other hardware/software such as APC UPS technology.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role.
- University degree or college diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience.
