UTemp provides the University of Toronto with a diverse range of talented short-term staff to cover casual vacancies of less than six months. UTemp handles each project with a unique hands-on approach to ensure we find the best candidate for the job. We strive to create long-lasting and successful relationships by finding individuals with strong office skills and an open-minded work ethic. Examples of short-term positions include administrative, office management, accounting, finance, IT, website management, graphic design, motion graphics, film editing, human resources, event planning, student services, fundraising, communications, and project management.
Desired Skills & Experience
Ideal UTemp candidates are knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic, with demonstrated abilities to pick up new skills quickly. They have strong administrative skills and experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Quercus, Rosi, SAP, project management software, or other desirable programs. Candidates with work experience in a college or university environment, government, non-profit, or private sector are highly sought after. Our candidates understand that the work we provide is subject to the current short-term opportunities at the University of Toronto, ranging from four hours to five and a half months.
