Qualifications

Overview

J.K. Moore Petroleum Inc., a division of MacEwen Petroleum Inc. has an opening for a Fuels Delivery Driver to serve our growing customer base. This is a highly respected role in our company as we recognize the value of our professional drivers. The Fuels Delivery Driver is responsible for the courteous, safe, timely, and efficient loading and delivery of fuels and petroleum products to customers. This is a full-time, permanent role, working days, including occasional evenings and weekends. This position is based out of our Sudbury, Ontario.

In This Role, You Will
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of petroleum products to commercial and residential customers.
  • Be required to work regular shifts, including occasional weekends, as may be required.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping, including product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, and transportation of dangerous goods reports.
  • Assist with the delivery and set-up of customer skid tanks when required.
  • Along with performing mandatory circle checks, maintain the cleanliness of the truck, cab, and work location.
  • Share all pertinent information with dispatch, including improvement suggestions for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Obey all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Willingness to travel on occasion - back up driver for Timmins to cover vacations for example (all expenses are covered)
What We're Looking For
  • Valid DZ license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial DZ driving experience.
  • Clean driver’s abstract and acceptable CVOR.
  • Mechanical inclination is desirable.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds; position requires frequent bending and moving heavy loads.
  • Ability and willingness to undergo cross-training for fuel deliveries, tank installations, and other related tasks.
  • Local geographical knowledge is required.
  • Positive and humble attitude.
