A public school district in Alberta is seeking a Full-Time Divisional Psychologist. This role supports inclusive learning for all students, implements comprehensive counseling services, and collaborates with educational teams to enhance student success. Full-Time, Divisional Psychologist
Start Date: As soon as mutually agreed upon
1.0 FTE Monday-Friday
7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 10 Months per year
This is a 10-month position. The Divisional Psychologist will report directly to the Director of Inclusive Learning.
The Division is open to a work arrangement within the Grande Yellowhead Public School Division. The official work location will be determined and approved by the Director of Inclusive Learning.

The Divisional Psychologist understands inclusion in the school setting, and works to support learning outcomes for all students throughout the levels of the pyramid response to intervention. The Divisional Psychologist supports the implementation of a comprehensive counselling service including prevention programs, intervention strategies and crisis response and is skilled at teacher collaboration and sharing promising practices, with specific expertise in supporting social participation and embedding positive behavior/mental health supports. The Divisional Psychologist liaises with school based teams, collaborates with the FSLC team and works as a member of the Inclusion team.

Grande Yellowhead Public School Division (GYPSD) stretches from Jasper National Park, east to Evansburg, south of Cadomin, and northwest to Grande Cache. The jurisdiction includes 17 schools, 5 Learning Connection Centres, approximately 5000 students and 600 staff. The Division is governed by seven elected Trustees.
