Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategy, delivery and execution of PIAM capabilities at RBC. This role requires collaboration with various cross-functional teams and stakeholders globally to prioritize and implement PIAM services to ensure strategic goals and objectives are accomplished within approved time, scope and budget.

What will you do?
  • Responsible for stakeholder alignment, vendor and platform strategy, governance and ensuring PIAM solutions support enterprise security, business needs, and future ready access models. The role partners closely with Corporate security, Corporate real estate, Facilities, Global functions technology, Risk and Business stakeholders.
  • Support in the creation and maintenance of the PIAM roadmaps and help ensure IT investments at program and project level are aligned with the future-state architectures
  • Act as the PIAM product owner, accountable for outcomes, value realization and prioritization
  • Leverage data and analytics to identify inefficiencies and compliance gaps to drive continuous improvement through analytical insights
  • Gathering internal and external feedback to identify potential new products or improvements to existing products.
  • Prioritize product features based on risk, value and regulatory requirements to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Work with solution architects to facilitate decisions to ensure that all PIAM delivered projects/development and operations meet enterprise architectural and technology standards
  • Participate in the development and delivery of PIAM services, ensuring initiatives are completed within defined time, scope, and budget constraints.
  • Provide relevant project related estimates, assumptions, and integration options for proposed PIAM related solutions and capabilities within a business context
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and more efficient operations while continuing to manage risks.
  • Monitor PIAM trends, technology, regulation, and legislation and ensure RBC PIAM strategies are appropriately aligned.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and industry best practices
  • Promote PIAM best practices, strategy, and vision across the organization through successful delivery, roadshows and participation in events.
Must Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in Product management, IT technologies, Stakeholder management
  • Ability to stay current with technology trends, identify and mitigate gaps to ensure PIAM maturity
  • Build strong relationships, influencing cross-functional teams and effectively communicating product vision, strategy, and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Knowledge of Physical access technologies and IAM
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of IT Standards, methodologies
  • Experience in project management and guiding agile teams
