A community-centric organization in Canada seeks a Director of Outreach for the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge. This role involves promoting the event to schools and youth groups across the country. Ideal candidates are high school or postsecondary students looking to gain public speaking and community engagement skills. The Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge is a national competition geared towards high school and junior high students that focused on the creative application of science, technology, engineering, arts and math in real-life scenarios. Join our team of volunteers from all across Canada! The Directors of Outreach are responsible for assisting in the advertisement of the event to their communities. Directors will be provided with contact information for schools and youth groups in their region, and will be involved in postering, and giving presentations about our event. They are also responsible for devising effective strategies to attract general volunteers for the Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge from their post-secondary institution.
