Job Summary

The Director of Marketing for Industrialized Construction will drive the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives for Autodesk for industrialized construction. This role requires a visionary leader with deep knowledge of the construction industry, B2B marketing, and digital marketing trends and success requires significant cross-organizational alignment and collaborative execution. The Director of Marketing for Industrialized Construction will be responsible for driving brand awareness, generating qualified leads, and establishing our company as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape, providing expert advice on positioning and messaging.
  • Define and own the go-to-market strategy for all products and services, coordinating with Product, Sales, and Corporate Marketing teams.
  • Create and manage the annual marketing budget, tracking and analyzing ROI on all marketing campaigns.
Brand Management & Awareness
  • Lead the development of all branding and corporate identity initiatives for Industrialized Construction, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. Significant collaboration with Corporate Marketing team.
  • Build and strengthen brand awareness through content marketing, digital advertising, social media, event participation, and public relations.
  • Create and manage thought leadership content, including an IC Super conference, industry white papers, customer case studies, and webinars, to establish the company as an authority in industrialized construction.
Campaign Execution & Lead Generation
  • Define and direct the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms to specific target customers.
  • Develop content and collateral for various stages of the buyer's journey, supporting the sales team with compelling tools and materials.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and marketing automation.
  • Manage IC web assets and social media presence, driving traffic and engagement.
  • Coordinate event marketing efforts, including industry trade shows and speaking engagements.
  • Develop sales enablement strategy, content, training and roll out
  • Responsible for analytics demonstrating the efficacy of IC marketing activity.
Team Leadership & Management
  • Significant executive and cross-divisional influence and alignment to leverage broader company resources for successful execution.
  • Supervise, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team.
  • Manage agency partners, consultants, and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management.
  • Foster strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, particularly Sales, Product Development, and Operations.
Required Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a senior B2B marketing role, preferably within the AEC industry.
  • Proven experience developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the AEC market and a deep understanding of the industry's sales cycle, trends, and key players.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including marketing automation software, Salesforce, and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to optimize campaign performance and track ROI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and presentations.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
Desired Experience
  • Experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of industrialized construction.
  • Familiarity with specific construction methods and installation procedures, modular construction or prefabrication.
  • Knowledge specific contracting models, such as IDP and Design-Build.
  • A strong portfolio of successful B2B marketing campaigns in a related industry.

Salary Transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $168,300 and $272,250. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
