A leading educational organization is seeking a Director of Education to ensure high-quality learning experiences for students. This role involves monitoring student progress, coaching teachers, and managing center operations, all while fostering a personal connection with families. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education and have strong interpersonal skills to motivate students and staff alike.
The Director of Education is responsible for delivering a high quality personal customer experience byensuring that the ongoing educational needs of Sylvan families are met and that our education programs are delivered by teachers as designed.
To ensure a personal learning experience, the Directormonitors student performance, meets regularly with families, and connects with school teachers tohelp ensure the application of skills learned in the classroom.
The Director also observes and coachesthe teaching staff, ensuring robust instructional experiences.
When the Center Director is unavailableor not in the Center, the Director of Education serves as the point-of-contact for customers andmanages Center operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Candidatewill interact with and motivate students during instruction, and evaluate and document student progress after instruction.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Knowledge of iPads and Zoom an asset.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Candidateis also articulate, organized, professional, detail-oriented, and able to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
