A local non-profit organization is hiring a Direct Funding Coordinator to assist Indigenous families with personalized respite services. The role requires setting up family contracts and supporting the use of funding services. Candidates should be prepared to travel throughout Northern Ontario. This position offers two permanent full-time roles with a dynamic team-oriented work environment.

The Direct Funding Coordinator provides assistance to Indigenous families in the utilization of Wesway’s Family Directed Respite Funding services. The primary focus of the position involves setting up family contracts, providing resources, information and support on engaging direct respite providers, processing incoming family invoices, and monitoring service allocations. The Direct Funding Coordinator ensures that services and practices are delivered in accordance with agency policies as well as applicable legislation. This position involves travel throughout Northern Ontario including travel to remote communities.
