Responsibilities
  • Build and design UJA’s e-newsletters
  • Turn design into code for UJA’s event invitations and email communications
  • Apply digital marketing best practices (source tracking, audience segmentation)
  • Create new and update existing content on UJA’s websites
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various platforms (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn etc.) Tracking campaign performance, analyzing data and metrics, and providing insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
  • Work collaboratively with staff as well as with multiple stakeholders
  • Good understanding of IAB standards
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in HTML for email and web, good understanding of digital design concepts and mobile responsive design best practices
  • Passionate advocate and visible champion of UJA’s mission, values, and goals, inspiring others through action and unwavering commitment to advancing our shared purpose.
  • Good understanding of email marketing automation software/email builder (Pardot, Mail Chimp, Campaign Monitor or similar)
  • Basic understanding of salesforce or similar CRM preferred
  • Understand AODA requirements and have the ability to apply WCA guidelines
  • Experience with web content management systems

This is a full-time 10-month contract position. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work. Engagement and connection are key to supporting the best employee experience and we want to ensure that this puts balance and well-being at the forefront of our approach to ways of working. In addition to a rich time off policy, UJA’s offices are closed on all Jewish holy days (yom tov) and we support early office closures to observe the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat).
