Overview

A Brief Overview This position performs market research and reviews analytics and evaluates effectiveness. This position creates and releases the messaging for the website and various media and plays a key role in the areas of writing, content development, social media, and market research. This position may require the incumbent to work occasional evenings and weekends to support unit events and activities. This position creates and implements recruitment campaigns for the unit's programs, teams and/or events. This position coordinates appropriate messaging and design for various media, and writes, edits, and collects engaging content for the website and other digital communications. This position also tracks digital content and analyzes social media presence to improve search optimization.

What you will do
  • Creates and implements recruitment campaigns for the unit's programs, teams and/or events.
  • Coordinates appropriate messaging and design for various media, and prepares and releases according to schedule.
  • Writes, edits, and collects engaging content for the website, digital communications, social media, and other online marketing channels.
  • Tracks digital content and analyzes social media presence to improve search optimization. Identifies performance measures, new trends, or media platforms and implements approaches.
  • Analyzes campaign reports and adjusts digital marketing communications accordingly.
  • Organizes and coordinates photography and video for special events and marketing purposes.
  • Monitors spending for digital campaigns.
  • Oversees the work of a casual or volunteer team to deliver digital content.
  • Other duties as required in support of the department and/or unit.
