A municipal government in Metro Vancouver is seeking a permanent full-time Digital Access Librarian to develop and deliver instructional programs and support users in technology. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in librarianship, strong communication skills, and familiarity with digital tools such as HTML and Python. This role offers a starting rate of $40.13 per hour with 37.5 hours of work per week. Additional language skills in Farsi, Mandarin, or French are considered assets.

The West Vancouver Memorial Library has an opening for a permanent full-time Digital Access Librarian position. The WVML Technology Team is passionate, inspired, and known throughout the province for innovation, responsiveness, and leadership.
The successful candidate will have a degree in librarianship from an accredited library school, including or supplemented by courses in one or more of the following: instructional design, youth and/or seniors’ services, website design, Microsoft Office, programming, multimedia development, user experience, digital collections and services and preferably some professional library experience. The ability to speak Farsi, Mandarin, and/or French will be considered an asset. The successful candidate is required to supply a vulnerable sector police information check and a copy of their credentials. A cover letter is also required as part of the application process.
