As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Toronto-based Developer Relations Advocate. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical content, fostering a vibrant online community, and organizing in-person events to engage with AI and DevOps engineers. You will act as a bridge between our company and the broader developer ecosystem, ensuring that practitioners have the resources and support they need to succeed.


What You’ll Do
  • Video Content Creation: Develop compelling video demos showcasing our technology, best practices, and use cases to educate and inspire our community.
  • Community Engagement: Manage and nurture an online community of AI and DevOps engineers, facilitating discussions, answering questions, and sharing insights.
  • Event Organization: Plan and execute local events in key North American cities, collaborating with AI communities and industry experts to drive engagement.
  • Advocacy & Outreach: Represent the company at industry conferences, meetups, and online forums to promote our solutions and foster meaningful connections.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather insights and feedback from the developer community to help shape our products and improve the developer experience.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, technical writing, or community management, experience with developer outreach, public speaking, and API integrations is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related fields with a strong technical focus or equivalent practical experience.Experience creating technical content, particularly video demos, tutorials, or livestreams.
  • Strong background in AI, DevOps, or software engineering, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Experience with social media and content distribution strategies.
  • Proven experience in community management, event organization, or developer advocacy.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior involvement in open-source projects or developer communities.
