Overview

Role: Database Developer Senior

Location: Onsite / Canada

Responsibilities

We are looking for 12+ years of experience in database development, with a strong knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server and Oracle.

• 12+ years of database development experience
• Strong SQL experience in creating database objects like Tables, Stored Procedures, DDL / DML Triggers, Views, Indexes, Cursors, Functions & User defined data types
• Developing, testing, and optimizing SQL queries, procedures, and functions to manipulate and retrieve data
• Strong understanding of SQL syntax, database design principles, and best practices
• Experience with various DBMS platforms like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
• Knowledge of other relevant programming languages like Java, Python, or C# may be beneficial
• Experience with cloud development / technologies would be a plus
• Familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g. .NET, Java, Python)
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus
• Experience with cloud development / technologies and architecture would be a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• Investment Management experience in the past
