We’re Hiring a Dayforce Test Lead for a 1‑year contract!

Are you someone who loves making sure systems run smoothly, data is accurate, and nothing slips through the cracks? If leading testing for a major Dayforce WFM/HCM implementation sounds like your kind of challenge, this might be a great fit for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Dexterra Group is into the process of an enterprise-wide implementation of Dayforce. The contract Dayforce Test Lead is vital to help us deliver a smooth, accurate, and well‑executed implementation.

  • Build and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts across Dayforce modules (Payroll, Workforce Management, Benefits, Scheduling, and more).
  • Define clear testing scope, objectives, and timelines that support project milestones.
  • Lead functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and end users to validate requirements and resolve defects.
  • Manage and maintain test environments and test data.
  • Log, track, and prioritize defects using tools (such as Smartsheet).
  • Facilitate defect triage meetings and help keep issue resolution on track.
  • Mentor and guide QA team members on best practices and standard processes.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide ongoing status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure testing meets organizational, audit, and regulatory standards.
  • Validate payroll calculations, compliance rules, and integrations with third‑party systems.
Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Solidknowledge of Dayforce WFM/HCM modules, plus 3+ years in a QA lead role.
  • Previous involvement in Dayforce implementation or upgrade projects.
  • Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools (Smartsheet or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience with automation tools.
  • Knowledge of HR/Payroll compliance regulations.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • QA certification.
