Job summary

A staffing solutions provider in Toronto is seeking an experienced WFM and Payroll Specialist to lead and support implementations of Dayforce and Kronos systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical integration skills, along with experience in payroll compliance and stakeholder management. Job description
Key Responsibilities - Dayforce WFM & Payroll
  • Lead or support Dayforce implementations including Time & Attendance, Scheduling, and Payroll modules.
  • Configure Dayforce workflows, pay policies, accruals, and compliance rules.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into system configurations.
  • Perform payroll testing, reconciliation, and support go-live activities.
Key Responsibilities - Kronos Workforce Central
  • Configure pay rules, work rules, accruals, and scheduling in Kronos WFC (v8.1.14).
  • Support Kronos timecard validation, exception handling, and reporting.
  • Assist in Kronos to Dayforce migration or co-existence strategies.
Technical Integration & Platform Support
  • Collaborate with IT teams to support integrations via SAP PI / PO and file transfers.
  • Work with Control-M for job scheduling and automation of payroll and WFM processes.
  • Support deployment and maintenance on Azure on-prem environments, ensuring secure and scalable infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across functional and technical domains.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Dayforce WFM and Payroll implementations.
  • 2+ years of hands-on configuration experience in Kronos Workforce Central 8.1.14.
  • Familiarity with SAP PI / PO, Control-M, EFT, and Azure on-prem environments.
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, labor laws, and timekeeping policies.
  • Experience with data mapping, file transfers, and integration testing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ceridian Dayforce certification.
  • Experience in Kronos to Dayforce migration projects.
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM is a plus.
  • Experience in multi-country or global payroll implementations.
